Shower tile installation requires proper waterproofing behind the tile — not just cement board, but a membrane or waterproofing product on the board itself. We assess existing shower structure, apply waterproofing membrane at seams and transitions, then set tile with waterproof thinset. Getting the substrate right is what prevents the leaks and mold that show up in improperly installed showers 2–5 years later.
Bathroom floor tile requires a solid, level substrate — loose or soft subfloor causes grout to crack and tiles to hollow. We check the floor for deflection, add cement board or additional subfloor thickness where needed, then set tile in your chosen pattern. We always install a Schluter strip or similar transition at the doorway for a clean, professional finish.
Large-format tiles (24x24, 24x48, and larger) are increasingly popular in Las Vegas homes but require perfectly level substrates and back-buttering of each tile to prevent hollow spots. We have the flatbed trowels, level clips, and suction lifters to handle large-format tile correctly.
Grout color has a major impact on the finished look of any tile installation. We help you choose between sanded and unsanded grout, coordinate with your tile color and size, and apply grout evenly for consistent joint depth and texture. All natural stone and unglazed tile gets sealed on completion to prevent staining.
