- Fill holes and cracks with spackle
- Sand all patched areas smooth
- Clean walls of dust and grease
Priming
- Apply primer to patched areas
- Full prime coat on new drywall
- Stain-blocking primer where needed
- Allow proper dry time before painting
- Sand lightly after primer dries
Painting
