We find every loose joint, not just the obvious one, and make the piece sit level and solid again.
Loose Joints — Re-Glued & Tightened
Tightening screws on a failed glue joint only buys a few weeks. The lasting fix is to open the joint, clean out the old, dried glue, and re-glue it with fresh wood glue under clamps so it cures under pressure. Combined with tightened or replaced hardware, a properly re-glued joint is as strong as the day the piece was made.
Broken Legs & Supports
Clean breaks and splits at a joint can usually be glued, pinned and clamped back to full strength. We also repair cracked stretchers, broken rungs, and sagging supports on chairs, tables and bed frames. If a leg or support is shattered beyond a safe repair, we'll tell you honestly before quoting anything.
Drawer Slides & Hinges
Drawers that stick, drop or fall off their tracks make good furniture feel cheap. We repair and replace worn drawer slides, re-glue loose drawer boxes, re-align drawer fronts, and fix the hinges and pulls on dressers, desks and nightstands so everything opens and closes the way it should.
